Description

This is a screen shot of a profile/side view of the Ghost landed.

I placed the decks then ladders and then room boxes to show where I think they are in the ship.

The pink box MB behind the front turret is the maintenance bays on either side of it and are not connected to it by a door or ladder.

There are two purple boxes and one dark red box for where the engine room could be, but any of the three could be a repair bay or some other type of room.

The white box for the airlock door is slightly above the second deck(CC's Deck 03). That door has a circular porthole that is right at Zev's height(he's like 6'8" tall) and is only as wide as his shoulders, at least from the inside hatch.

The bright red vertical rectangles are the ladders and the horizontal ones are the platforms they can step onto for the front turret, the Phantom underside deck, and the Phantom Hallway deck.

There's also a blank spot in front of the dorsal turret and above the crew cabins that could be a small room or at least access bays to get at the circuitry for the ship like Chewie did on the Falcon(the rafters had a space he was crawling around in for ESB).

The heights are different for each deck too. Some have the same heights though. The hall behind the cockpit is probably around 8' tall on the interior and is most likely the same for the Phantom Hallway access. The deck under the phantom, the front and dorsal turrets, and the airlock walkways are under 8' tall. The turrets are most likely 6.5' and the airlock walkways and the underside of the Phantom are probably 7-7.5' tall. Cargo bays vary. Parts are almost two decks high and parts are only 6.5' high(outer edges of triangular cargo sections.).

The front landing gear is about 5.5' tall. The front hatch is about 10' tall. The room behind the entry ramp is about 15' tall(the ladder leading to the cockpit is about the same height). There's a scene in the first episode where Ezra looks up the ladder well and then climbs. This helps to show how tall the ladder is.

I assume the ladder for the dorsal turret is the same height(about 15'). Both ladders would be about 30' of the ship's height.  And with the ship being 47.5' tall(excluding the LG's) that left 17.5'(2 decks high). Making about 6 decks including the dorsal turret. They may not be full-sized decks, but they are separate levels of the ship.

All my measurements are just generalized and by eye and from using a paint program. And of course there are internal workings that would be in between the decks which would add more footage to the height. But if you look at cross sections of the Falcon and other freighters, the space between walls/decks/hulls can be surprisingly small.

I got inspired to do this because of Colonial Chrome's awesome deckplans for the Ghost. I credit him with my work on the ship's layout. His page here is: (colonialchrome.deviantart.com/) If you're interested in seeing more ships and cool artwork, check him out! :{

Thanks for the intro on that. And yeah, I love talking about the SW ships, so I'm glad to be able to discuss it with you. And thanks for looking at the pics and giving feedbck.

To clarify some things:

In my description of this pic, I say that there are bits between the decks. Also that not every level/room is the same 8'(240cm) height. And some decks/levels/floors are in between like the airlock doors.

The Falcon also only has one deck with maintenance bays. So the 50cm thickness must be including the the 30cm for the bulkhead. 20 cm seems about right from what we see on the Ghost.

Your deck plan also has the Phantom exterior being slightly too short and too wide. And the scale being wrong at 35.5 pixels per meter. The Ghost is 112 feet wide 144 feet long and 47.5 feet tall excluding LG's. Your scale has the Ghost at 92 feet wide and 115 feet wide which would make for a shorter ship height too if that's how you're figuring the 3 decks.

The front turret is about 6.5' tall in the hallway and platform, but the bubble opens it up in the front. The dorsal turret is also a short "deck". Only about 4-5' tall after getting more screen captures of it with a person inside it and standing on the hull next to it. Which left 42 ft for five decks. Almost 8.5 feet per deck leaves at least at least 6" for wiring/plumbing between decks.

The Phantom's hull thickness of its floor is about the same when you see someone step out of it. And if you look at the space between the cockpit's deck and the turret platform, you'll see that it's only about 6" thick. Granted, there isn't any need for it to be thicker in that spot.

There is also a hallway in front of the Phantom in episode 6 of season 1 making a fourth deck between the dorsal turret and the Phantom. The fore door of it would hit the dorsal turret's ladder at a platform like the front turrets and the aft door connects to the rear of the Phantom. This hall has different lighting that the cockpit hall and has readout
panel that the cockpit hall doesn't have. Definitely a fourth
floor/deck.

Ezra sits crouched in a maintenance bay(that's over his head) while in the Phantom and it opens up under the Phantom(while docked facing aft). This bay is either behind or in front of the round airlock that the Phantom connects to when facing forward that supposedly goes to the common room. I think that ladder hits a platform or a deck then they go down another ladder. So if the hall in front of the Phantom is the fifth floor/deck, this one would be 4. It's not a full 8' though, like the dorsal turret.

If you look at the edges of the triangular cargo holds and measured that, you'll see that it's probably about 2-3' tall(3 of them makes the height of the airlock's outer door). As it slopes up towards the ships center, it becomes 6-8' in height. The compartments are probably sloped to match.  I'll post a pic that shows boxes for the scale of that door and not floors/decks.

I admit that my fourth deck is probably non existent or limited to only under the Phantom, but there's just barely enough room to justify it. I believe the Phantom has a repair/maintenance bay under it and on it's sides when docked to allow for easy repairs while in space. The sides are probably just crawlways though. And maybe the whole deck is a crawlspace height deck.

There's a lot more to say, and I have a lot of reference shots collected form the first 6 episodes so far.

How much of the show have you seen so far? Are you caught up with the 2nd season?

So far, I haven't seen a shot of the cargo bay at all. And no engine room yet either. And you know the ship probably has escape pods.

This is going to be cool if we somehow guess the correct configuration of the interior before it's officially released. :{
